North Shore

Monday, Memorial Day, was my last day on the island.  We decided to drive to the North Shore and stop at beaches along the way as we fancied.  It was fabulous.  As we drove up the coast, the panoramas were incredible…Mostly beaches, green mountains, and horse ranches.  We stopped at Turtle Beach, where we saw amazing flocks of sea turtles; Shark’s Cove, where the snorkeling is fantastic; Sunset Beach, which was perfect for swimming.  Lastly, we stopped into the quaint town of Halieva for a delicious Thai dinner and scrumptous Matsimoto’s Shave Ice for dessert:

After our yummy dinner, it was time for our goodbyes. We drove to the airport, and I changed out of my swimsuit at the bathroom there immediately before checking my bag.  It was sad to say goodbye, but it helped to know that I will be seeing everyone again in a few weeks!  It was an amazing trip: Thank  you so much, Mom and Dad! xoxo
